Dr. Gabriel Cousens M.D. recommends!

Australian Jarrah Variety,  Ethically Wild Crafted by Small Family Farms

Special Note: The Jarrah Tree blooms only once every 2 years or so, and this is our lucky year! Stock is limited so order yours while supplies last.

This Bee Pollen is arguably the finest in the world, which is a claim we don't make lightly. It has been biologically and energetically tested by Dr. Cousens, and discovered to have a higher life force vibration than any other food tested.  Imagine what it does for you when you eat it! Jarrah Bee Pollen has been shared with many raw food "gurus" and enthusiasts who are unanimously astounded by its superior qualities in every aspect of flavor, crispness, vitality, and purity. It is truly unlike any other pollen you have ever experienced.

What Makes Jarrah Bee Pollen so special:

From a 1 million acre natural preserve of Jarrah trees-- no conventional agricultural or environmental contaminants to affect the bees and the trees they pollinate

Ethically hand harvested by aboriginal descendants

A pure-strain pollen from a single plant species

Quality that makes it tolerable by many who are historically allergic to bee pollen

Specially dried, completely removing all moisture. This helps retain all the nutrients in their highest state to prevent fermentation and rotting. Does NOT require refrigeration; great for travel

Absolutely crisp texture that pops in your mouth with a wonderfully delicate, sweet flavor

Suggested Uses:

Hand stir Jarrah Bee Pollen into your smoothies after they have been blended for an effervescent, crisp, flavorful pop.

Great as "sprinkles" on your favorite desert.

Grab a handful for an energizing pick-me-up.

Do not refrigerate or freeze. Transfer to an air-tight jar or container to preserves its dryness, freshness and crispness.

Availability: This pollen is so rare due to limited production by the bees who only have access to flowering Jarrah trees once every two years. Vivapura has the privilege of being one of the only commercially available sources in North America. You won't find this miracle food elsewhere. We are honored to provide you with such a vital and unique superfood.

FAQs:

Are any bees harmed or killed?
Bees are never intentionally harmed by the beekeeper. Bees do frequently die due to natural causes. Average bee life in the summer is around 30 days (60k bees per hive - that is a lot of replacements).

Are the bees kept in 'captivity' or just roaming the area freely?
They roam free.

Is there pollen left after collecting for the bees to sustain their hives?
Bee’s are always given free flight (no pollen traps) every other day when pollen traps are on, otherwise they will stop collecting pollen.  (They also stop collecting if the beekeeper gets too greedy).  In addition, a large portion of honey is left in the hives so the bees can feed on what they collect during the winter.

What about the bees' lifecycle?
Queens are normally killed naturally by the bees themselves or die of age/natural causes.  Requeening may happen with weak hives or splits in the spring, but this is usually in addition to, not as replacement. However there are cases where the queen must be removed for the good of the hive, whether by the beekeeper or the bees themselves. This is because if a hive weakens and the queen is dying she must be replaced before the hive swarms or dies.

What kind of accommodations are the bees provided with?
The hives are standard 3 box 7/8 frame hives that the beekeeper builds for the bees to live in rent free. They trade for honey and pollen.

The "Pollen Cycle" is as follows:

Pollen is collected from traps on average twice per week (giving free-flight, without pollen traps, between collection periods).

Pollen is stored frozen (mostly collected within 200 km.) until drying that day or early next day.

Pollen is weighed and placed in dryers.

Dryer is started and is set to dry only the trays containing pollen. Temperature is preset to supply air at 45 degrees Celsius (113 F).

Time of drying varies depending on quantity of pollen and moisture content, which varies significantly, but in general each 10 kg takes about one hour.

Pollen is taken from dryer when cool and put through a primary screen to remove large particles and any bees.

Then pollen goes into main cleaner which is similar to a grain winnower.

From the main cleaner the pollen goes immediately into a freezer at -18/20 degrees Celsius (minus) for a period not less than 7 days.

Process may be repeated as necessary.

Pollen is then stored in air tight conditions until it makes its way to happy pollen eaters - that's you!

Bee Pollen Superfood Nutrition:

Bee pollen is actually a plant product. It is the "semen" of the plant world, filled with "biological information" and "potential energy." One of the most highly prized superfoods used for thousands of years, bee pollen is known as an energy enhancer and the herbal "fountain of youth." It contains an incredible array of vitamins, minerals, amino acids, enzymes, co-enzymes and hormones. It is 55% carbohydrates and 35% protein. Experience what one of the most nutritionally complete natural substances found on Earth can do for you.

Bee pollen is an alkaline food considered by nutritionists to be the most complete food found in nature. Bee pollen is a rich source of high-quality protein. Bee pollen contains all essential amino acids. Its high levels of protein and amino acids make it a great strength builder and brain food.

Some of the amino acids present include: cystine, lysine, histidine, arginine, aspartic acid, threonine, glutamine, proline, glycine, alanine, valine, methionine, isoleucine, leucine, tyrosine, phenylalanine, and tryptophan. Some of the minerals included in bee pollen include: barium, boron, calcium, copper, iodine, iron, magnesium, manganese, phosphorus, potassium, selenium, sodium, and zinc.

Bee pollen contains vitamins A, B, C, and E. It is extraordinarily rich in most of the B vitamins, including folic acid (folate). Bee pollen contains over 5,000 enzymes. The phytonutrients (such as co-enzymes, bioflavonoids, phytosterols, and carotenoids) found in bee pollen also number in the thousands. Bee pollen is 15% natural lecithin.

Some of the Benefits of Bee Pollen Consumption Include:

Increases energy and stamina.

Increase muscle growth and definition.

Builds immune system.

Has antioxidant activity.

Enhances sexuality.

Smoothes wrinkles.

Suggested Usage:

Start by using 1-3 tablespoons of bee pollen each day for children or adults. Increase serving if desired. Hand stir or blend into smoothies for an effervescent, crisp, flavorful pop.  Sprinkle it on your favorite desert or grab a handful for an energizing pick-me-up.

Warning: A small amount of people who initially ingest pollen may occasionally experience minor gastro-intestinal irritation and a laxative effect, due to the richness of the substance. Another potential, yet rare, allergic reaction can involve swelling, heart palpitations, and minor to moderate difficulty in breathing. For those who are new to enjoying this pollen, it is recommended that an initial small dosage (about 1/4 teaspoon) of pollen be taken.
