Among our favorite Oolongs, and one of our favorite Wuyi Mountain teas this tea is hand-picked from a deep beautiful bamboo forest in the wild of the Wuyi Mountains. Surrounded by pine and bamboo forests, this tea absorbs the energy of its surroundings. In this wild bamboo forest, the bamboo trees naturally arch over the tea trees acting as a protector while the pine trees stand strong behind the bamboo. The villagers who are the “care-takers” of this tea, whole life revolves around their tea from this beautiful mountain. Wuyi Oolongs are famous for inducing weight loss, has anti-aging properties, lowers blood pressure, and stimulates the immune system, improving heart health and more.
Description
Lightly roasted, the taste is lighter compared to many heavily roasted Wuyi teas and simply amazing. The brew is clear autumn brown and fragrant with a natural subtle orchid taste that is lightly toasted and nutty. Wuyi teas are known to be the best and most expensive in China and this tea is one of the rarest teas in Wuyi Mountain. This is a rare tea with very limited supply.
