Story
Known as the “longevity tea”, this wild hand harvested Kuding tea grows along mountain crests and alongside bamboo bushes in Sichuan Province, China. Its scientific name is Folium llicis Latifoliae and is actually considered an herb by many. Kuding tea is used in traditional Chinese medicinal tea and has a long history of use in folk medicine to treat common colds, headaches, red eyes, overheating of the body, and to stimulate digestion. It is also known for its detoxifying properties.
Description
The leaves are a dark green color that when brewed turn a beautiful bright green. The liquor is an eye pleasing bright green with a slightly sweet scent. The taste changes several times in your mouth going from slightly bitter to sweet, but leaving a refreshingly cool aftertaste in your mouth.
